THE POST-MODERN FAITH OF ABRAHAM

An Intersection of the Secular and Religious

ABOUT THE BOOK: The Creeds of Abraham are a set of beliefs that persuades all the people of this world to relate all human life to “the natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth” according to the methodology of ilm-ul-yaqin (certainty of knowledge by inference and reasoning), ayn-ul-yaqin (certainty of knowledge by seeing and observing) and haqq-ul-yaqin (absolute knowledge, like this is a book, etc), like plants and animals do.

For example, in the first instance, Abraham used pure reason and logic like the atheists and secularists do to reject all the religions and gods of his time. And when he wanted to know “the all truth” about Religion and God, instead of sending him a Book like the Bible or the Qur’an, God “showed him the natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth so that he might (with understanding) have certitude” (Qur’an 6:75).

And it was through this knowledge of Nature that he declared that there was Creator, Designer, Sustainer, Protector, etc, of our Universe, free of all dogma and doctrines of Religion and that God wanted him to follow the secular and scientific path of God’s creation without being Godless.

Therefore, to believe that Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (s) were founders of any of the religions that Jews, Christians and Muslims follow today is totally false. All they were commanded to do was use the knowledge of the Book that was revealed to them to establish a Post-Modern society based on “sound reason and science” according to the Creeds of Abraham.

Hence, they (Moses, Jesus and Prophet Muhammad) used Revealed Knowledge in the context of “the natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth” to eliminate the dichotomy of the secular and religious by eliminating all extremists and fundamentalists teachings and practices within and between them that made them separate and exclusive.

Dr Michael H Hart, in his book, “The 100: Most Influential People in History”, states that Prophet Muhammad was the only one in history who was “most extremely successful in both the secular and religious levels”.

Therefore, the Creeds of Abraham do not only relate human life to “the natural laws of the different dominions of the heavens and the earth” but they also superimpose the knowledge of science, religion, culture, politics, etc, one on top of the other without creating any boundaries within and between them that make them separate and exclusive.

The Qur’an (2:130) states, “Who would deliberately renounce the Creeds of Abraham except someone who reveals himself to be a fool?”
